Child & Family Services
When signs of trouble emerge, seek help. Certain behaviors may indicate that your child is having difficulty, such as anxious, worried or fearful behavior or an inability to concentrate, sit still, or focus attention.
Mental health problems can occur at the same time as medical, developmental, or learning problems. It is not uncommon for children with a diagnosed mental health problem to actually have more than one condition. Changes in mood or behavior can also be connected to life events such as divorce, death, trauma, or abuse.
