Child & Family Services

Mental health problems can occur at the same time as medical, developmental, or learning problems. It is not uncommon for children with a diagnosed mental health problem to have more than one condition. Changes in mood or behavior can also be connected to life events such as divorce, death, trauma, or abuse.

Child & Family Outpatient Services

Provided for children ages 3–18 and their families. Clinical treatment to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and conduct problems. Helping families cope with divorce, addiction, violence, and financial troubles.

Services include:

  • Individual, Family & Group Therapy
  • Play Therapy
  • Medication Evaluation and Management
  • Care Coordination

WCBH works with the NH Division for Children, Youth & Families when appropriate to coordinate services aimed at meeting the needs of children and their parents and strengthening the family system. This includes services provided at home and in the community.

Child Impact Program

The Child Impact Program is a court-ordered four-hour course required of all New Hampshire parents of children under age 18 who are in the process of divorce or who are required to have a parenting plan to address custody and financial support.

The course assists parents in understanding the impact of divorce, separation, and custody issues on their child(ren) and how they can best help their child(ren) adjust to the divorce and the changes that result. This program also provides suggestions for participants in developing a newly defined relationship as co-parents and finding ways to work together to raise their children.

Program Cost: $85.00 per person.
