West Central Leadership
Board of Directors
William C Torrey, MD, Board Chair To improve timely access to high quality psychiatric care for people in our community. |
Robert Hansen, PhD, Board Vice Chair Mental illness is one of our greatest social issues, causing tremendous suffering. I have time, energy and some experience, and I will do my best to help West Central in its mission to provide care for those with mental health issues. |
Pete Bleyler One of the primary reasons for my joining the Board is to give back for the wonderful, compassionate, care that West Central provided our daughter. |
Aimee Claiborne, DA, MBA, BSW As a former psychiatric case manager for a community mental health center like West Central, I have a passion for our community members that WCBH serves and for quality mental health services that are provided where people it most at home and locally. Mental Health affects us all in our lifetime and I am honored to serve on WCBH’s Board supporting the organization’s mission and viability for adults and children in need. |
Lisa Cohen It is important to me to give back to my community to help ensure that essential services are available to all who need them. The work of not-for-profits like West Central fills vital needs and supports our friends and neighbors. I am grateful to utilize my knowledge and time to help support this essential work. |
Matthew Houde, JD, MHCDS Comprehensive health care advocacy has to include advocacy for mental health, which is what I hope to elevate in connection with my service on the West Central Behavioral Health board. |
Darrell Hotchkiss, JD Mental health affects most aspects of our lives, including our physical, emotional and social well-being. My volunteer involvement with a free health clinic, a regional cancer center and as an advocate for abused and neglected children has brought me full-circle to the Board of West Central Behavioral Health. |
Brian Lombardo, MD Medical Director, Primary Care, Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital Thetford Center, VT |
Charlene Lovett Good mental health is as important as good physical health to an individual's overall well-being and productivity. I serve on the Board to help facilitate better access to mental health services and remove the stigma that too often exists around this issue. |
Brian Marsicovetere, JD I serve on the Board because the mission of community mental health agencies is so very important to our community as a whole and the clients my office frequently represents. |
Courtney Porter, MSW, M.Ed., LSSW As a career educator, my main goal has been to remove barriers that may impact the ability of young children and teenagers to thrive and become agents for change! My service to the board will help increase those opportunities while assisting in removing the stigma associated with mental health. |
Sally Rutter I’m an advocate for mental health awareness, acceptance, support, and understanding. |
Susan E. Seidler I believe in West Central’s mission and want to do my part to support people in my community. |
Lori Shibinette RN, MBA, Ex-Officio - President & CEO |
Sheila Shulman, LLB, MPH Mental health issues increasingly confront all of us at some level in our lives. As part of its outreach, West Central provides professional support to vulnerable individuals experiencing mental health problems, many of whom are unable to access help elsewhere. By serving on the Board, I work to support the essential mission of the Agency and its staff. |
Andrew Smith, PhD I am passionate about community mental health, and in particular Veterans mental health and their families. This is the role I was approached to serve (to advocate for veterans and their families). |
